Haida National Historic Site & Canada Marine Discovery Centre
2005-11-08 - Digital Wizards developed two web sites for Parks Canada for the Discovery Centre in Hamilton Ontario. The HMCS Haida website provides information and images about the ship, the last remaining destroyer that served the Royal Canadian Navy from 1943 – 1963. the Haida is a historic site located at Hamilton Harbour. Also developed was the Canada Marine Discovery Centre web site, with information and images about the centre, located within a block of the HMCS Haida. The Centre is a tourist attraction where visitors can explore all aspects of Parks Canada’s mandate – national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas, with a special emphasis on the importance of understanding and respecting Canada’s naturally and culturally significant marine environments.
